Inspection Reports

Post by riverlvr »

Is there a way to generate a report showing the inspection date? I am looking to enter the cust emission test due date in the inspection date field to give me data for follow up for their smog test. Thanks

In Reports, go to Followup and double-click on an Inspection Reminder (or any similar). This will present you with a set of tabs including Inspection. This allows you to date range a report.

Hi Tim, GREAT SEMINAR by the way. Is there a report that would list the "state or smog" dates when due by customer i.e. data from the inspection date entered on the vehicle screen. I may be missing something?
Thanks Jim

I'm about to go on with a training meeting now, I'll get back to you ASAP unless someone else chimes in in the meantime.

Thanks for your kind words on the workshop.

If you are going to follow-up via mass mail: The best way to get a list of customers with inspection dates is thusly:

Click on Reports
Click on Follow Up
Click on *MM - Create Data Export File
Click on Recommend
- select service date range -
Click on Search
Click on Print
save the file Followup.csv to you desktop.

You can open that file with Excel, Word and others.

Note: This data report is missing phone number which I have asked to be included in a future build. The data file does provide a nice range of data for a mailing campaign.
