Method To Flag A Customer

Is there a way to flag a customer that you never want to do business again? For example, I had a customer that came in after not being here for 7 years. The guy still owed me money and a pop up box warned me that this guys owes $XXX.xx. Another example is a customer that is just a PITA, but paid his bill, but I'd rather never doing business with him again. Currently I put notes in the "remarks" section, but that might get missed. I like the idea of a pop up box when, or if, this customer comes in again. Or, a customer has a kid in college, got a new job, a new baby - a pop up box that says to ask how their kid is doing...Is there a way to do this?

I do like this idea. I have thought of it myself. I would love to have a customer walk in here on the 1st and talk about how excited they for a trip to Alaska. Be able to get into system and make a memo. Then they came in some time after the trip and you ask.. "Hey Doug! How was that trip to Alaska?" They would really get a feeling that we really do know our clients. It could be used for many things. With that, it would need an option to leave the message.

The trip memo you may only want for the next visit, the "this guy is a complete &^%$#%^& don't do ANYthing for him" that needs to remain for ever.

This would be a superb item, and if you could make it flash for your deadbeat customers or turn red so you can see it right away would be cool.
