Start as RO When Converted From Scheduler?

Post by mastertechauto »

Maybe I'm missing a setting somewhere but I can't find it. Here's the situation...I have a customer listed in the scheduler, they come in and I double click on their name in the scheduler to convert to a RO. When I do this, it converts to an Estimate first. Is it possible that when you double click on that customer in the scheduler, that is will start out as a RO instead?

It's not a setting; the presumption is that a simple appointment (no details) becomes an estimate (with details) that must then be approved by the customer to become an active RO.

The F6 / New window can remember to start as EST or RO.

Thank you for the information. Is it possible to make this a enhancement request as an option?

Future schedule will have the option to start an estimate or a repair order. The new scheduler is targeted to release late fall.
