Sublet Labor

Post by katie042 »

Hi, I am asking this question for the service manager. We recently updated to 6.6.10 and Friday the service manager went to key sublet labor and he had to click the taxable button for this to take. Previous to the update, he would click the no tax button. Is this an issue for anyone else? Or can someone help with this. Thanks

Not seeing an issue here; is your labor taxable but all/certain sublets are not and that is why it has to be made non-taxable?

If you are saying "take" as in record the data entry and it wouldn't, this will likely require tech support to figure out what's happening.

Sorry, I just went over this with the Service manager. What I should have stated is that in the sublet labor he clicks the "no tax" button but it still adds the tax and labor is not taxable. It did not do this prior to the update. Thanks

Okay, I think I see the problem. Can you look in the lower right corner and tell me the version # you have? (examples 6.6.9, 7.02, etc.)

Support says they don't see a problem on 6.6.10; we'd better confirm a few things on your workflow:

1. Your labor is taxable and has a % above zero [Labor Revenue]
2. The Sublet entry is added to the order and taxed as your labor is [Sublet Revenue]
3. Clicking the Sublet Tax button - you change the selector from Taxable to Non-Taxable and OK to save this
4. The tax is not visibly reduced from Sublet tax setting change

Have I left anything out?
