Parts Matrix
Parts Matrix
I am a fleet company who has a retail side as well as a "parent company" (we are the garage for them) side. Is there is a way to take our "parent company" out of the matrix (parts mark up)? New operations manager at corporate wants to see how much he actually spent. He is now having someone retype & input into a different program. The labor is easy to back out, its just the parts. Would appreciate any ideas on how to accomplish this.

Re: Parts Matrix
The software is designed for a single location, functioning as a single DBA.
The Parts Markup Matrix is singular and applies to all parts where the User Entered Sale feature is not engaged. So all parts activity is managed this way. While there is a basic option of changing part "pricing levels" (relative to retail) for a customer and their vehicles (under Standard Tables - Discounts), there is currently no option to exclude a customer record from Markup or Matrix altogether.
You can play with adding and assigning Categories to selected transactions however this begins to skew shop reporting in certain ways. Perhaps other shops can chime in on this matter.
