History record dates

Post by Rich »

I have noticed lately that when going to F4, then searching by Vehicle, the search date appears to default back only 2 months. Example, I just searched for a vehicle, it shows

Posted From 04/04/2020

To 06/04/2020

The car I was looking for was from last year. I had to back date the "from date".. Then got out of the F4, short time later I went back in and the date is back to 04/04 - 06/04.

Am I missing a setting?

I think it defaults to 60 days. Not a sticky setting? You can save a search on the other F4 tab.

While this does sound exactly like the sort of defensive measure we'd implement for avoiding search criteria that might time out, it's not the behavior I see using this function.

My F4 > Vehicle search continues to show the last searched term and results until I hit the Clear button. Perhaps you can confirm that's the case, Rich? In which case, if you want to start with a 2 year range by default for example, don't clear your results, just change out the term and search again.

*Update* It appears to reset if I leave Manager for another application, but why would you ever need to do that? :P
