Upset About 2nd Shop History Access

Post by Rbkemmererl »

We had two shops that were about 5 miles apart. We shut down the smaller shop.
I spoke to shop key well before we shut it down And asked if there was any way to import our database into one computer (they said no)

But they did tell me if we cancel the license all the customer history is still ours and we can still go back into history. Now that we have canceled the user license I can't look up any customer info.
I agree that the customer information is stored on our computer But I am very upset they have blocked my access to my customer history.

Hi Rob,

You do still have access to the history. It's just a matter of the way you're trying to get there. You're likely accustomed to using F6 or F3 to perform the lookup. As those are new order functions, you will not be able to access history via those routes. Instead, you may either use F4 to jump directly to History, or use Utilities>Customer Screen to find a customer, then navigate to their history.
