Post by nickscarcare »

When is the vin breakdown or listing in Mitchell going to have 2022? Or am I out of date 8.2.2.113
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

You are out of date. At the top of this browser shows 8.4.0.104. I'm testing an even newer version now. You can also go to Help>Check for Updates.

Hi Nickscarcare,

This VIN loads in our latest version which is on m1files.com. You can also use the image at the top of the page saying "Attention Shop Management Users". The newest version is going to be 8.4.1.127 currently.

Even in Manager it says the version I have, as I said it was just updated last weekend.

So to be clear - you do have the latest version now and the VIN decoded for you?

I do now, but in Manager if I go through help and check for updates before I just did this last update today, it told me no updates available, then on the top of the forum it said the 8.4.0.104 was the latest also, not until I clicked the link did it show an update. AS I STATED, BEFORE TODAY, IF I CLICKED HELP, CHECK FOR UPDATES, IT SAID I WAS UP TO DATE. Is that clear now, just in case others are clicking the help, check for updates, they might be told they are up to date also and they are not as we were not. Programming error!!

Correct, the Help-> Check for Updates only checks to see if we've a GA (General Availability) release. When we first create a new version we do not want to have it go out to all customers at the same time. The newest version will always be on m1files.com and can be applied at any time even if the Check for updates states there is no update.
