Back Up in SE 6.4
I recently converted from 5.9 to SE 6.4 and also set up a server with 4 work stations. My server is unavailible to my staff. I run online back up software that backs up daily. I used to run a back up whenever a work station closed the program and ran end of day. However SE 6.4 says Back up must be ran from host.. Any Ideas on this Also, what files in the database can I back up online to make sure I am covered?
Re: Back Up in SE 6.4
We realize how important the need to backup from a workstation is to our users. With that in mind, implementing the function to backup from any station is one of our highest development priorities.
In the interim, to utilize your online backup service, designate the 'c:\Program Files\M1-SK\Teamworks\Manager\Data' directory for backup (specifically the ShopMgt.mdf and ShopMgt.ldf).
*Replace "Program Files" with "Program Files (x86)" if on a 64-bit system.
Hope that helps.
