Hello all,
I have a vendor that changed form E-store to Activant. Rather than editing the vendor link, someone here (who shall remain nameless to protect the guilty) started a new vendor set-up. The result is that some of our inventory has the old vendor and the newest entries are linked to the new vendor. I cannot find a report that would give me a list of inventory items by vendor so I could correct the older inventory. As our inventory is rather large, going through the whole list would take too long to be practical. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Inventory by vendor report
You're gonna like this......
You can update all of them at once. Go to the Inventory screen. Search the parts by Vendor (old vendor). That will give you all the inventory under the old name. Now click on the Update button. In the top field, change from the old vendor to the new and click OK. All of the records will be changed over to the new vendor.

Ric,
Gary
You are right, I really like this. I was beginning to think I would have to do them one at a time. Thank you for your prompt and very useful response. You're gonna like this......
