Print Specific Inventory List?
Print Specific Inventory List?
Would like to know how to print a list of stocked parts by a manufacture code in a numerical order like light bulbs for instance when I print now its lists them by the first number not by low to high 1003, 1004, 1141, 1445, 168,175,1873 would like it to be in list start at lowest number to highest if this makes sense Terry

Re: Print Specific Inventory List?
The issue with numbering is this. We expect AF232 to come before AF2303, just like 194 should come before 1004, but the way Manager sorts is strict numbering. It takes all the first digits, then the second digits and so on. Manager does not account for the number of digits, therefore does not organize the list the way we would put these on a shelf. It's always been like this since I can remember and I've always worked around it.

That's true if the sorting is within numbers as described.
If the part numbers are totally 100% backwards, click the P/N column again to change the Z-A sort back to A-Z sorting.

I know is silly question but why is it done that way when you print a inventory work sheet to go to shelf to check your list against what is on shelf you want to go in order lowest number to highest that's how you stock stuff so you not always hunting around on your list or shelf just seems odd to me
