Mark Parts as Ordered

How can I mark a part as ordered if I call the part in? Like when you call a dealer and order the part.

Yes, I know I could create a purchase order. Correct me if I'm wrong~To create a purchase order do I have do all the data entry again? I have already created the records on the RO, but since i didn't electronically look them up, I cannot create a PO automatically?

No double entry on manually created PO's from an RO. Once the order has all the parts on it, click on Options, then Pick List. This will produce a window where you can select the parts to be ordered. Once you select the parts, click on Create Order. A Purchase Order is created where you can manually fill in the Vendor.

If you only make a PO when actually ordering parts (phone order), then you'll always know if the parts have been ordered. PO = Ordered!
