Change Matrix Margins w/o Changing Inventory / Jobs?

How can you increase your margins in the parts matrix without changes being made to canned jobs pricing and inventory parts?

Is this impossible to do? If you change the margins in the matrix, does it change items in inventory that have been set with lower margins (ie...batteries)? Will it also change items in the canned jobs that were also set with lower margins (ie...oil, oil filters)? Does anyone have any experience/knowledge of this changing as described?

Any items marked 'User Entered Sale' will NOT be changed. Only items using the matrix will be updated.

As said anything marked User Entered Sale will be exempt from any matrix pricing changes.

It is possible to make changes to the matrix figures for FUTURE parts only by not using the 'Apply Matrix to Inventory' button which would impact existing items.
