MORE Catalog Becomes Repairlinkshop.com on 9/30

Post by timbre4 »

For those who have been hearing bits and pieces on the street for weeks, the story has come together. The MORE (OE dealer parts) catalog is being replaced by a newer version called repairlinkshop.com. The MORE catalog will be shut down on Sept 29th; an M1 landing page put there on that date will explain the change and provide instructions and link to run the catalog installer in manager files. Your shop's account number and profile details (even the servers connected to) all stay exactly the SAME as they were with the MORE catalog. (NO NEED for shops to re-register)

Go to m1faqs.com/fix/SE/catalogs/ and run #15 catalog installer; create a vendor record and enter your existing MORE catalog credentials for repairlinkshop.com.

We were switched over about 2 months now and its pretty user friendly. Will we be able to add Repairlink if were still running 5.9 or do we have to upgrade to SE? Jerry

I'm fairly sure More integration is only for SE.

I am currently switching from M.O.R.E. to RepairLink. The MORE software had a search function that listed participating dealers, but I cannot find this function in RepairLInk. Does it exist?

Do I need to unlink the current more vendors and somehow add them to the repair link?

Look at the first post from Tim. It has informational downloads with good instructions on how to set this up. From the splash screen.Configurations>Special Maintenance>Toggle catalog availability. Here you turn off MORE and turn on RepairLink Shop. If it is not yet on the list of catalogs, in info on Tim's first post with tell you how to set it up. Repair Link uses the same username and password as MORE. In vendor set up you will setup the the RepairLink connection and enter username and password. It looks pretty good so far. As with anything new it will be a minor adjustment.
