Inventory Item Questions

HAVE A PART NUMBER IN INVENTORY THAT SAID IT WAS LAST PURCHASED ON 1/6/15 BUT THE SALES BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PART EDIT SCREEN SHOWS NO SALES RECORD, ALSO WHEN I DO A PART NUMBER SEARCH IT HAS NO HISTORY, WHAT KIND OF REPORT CAN I RUN TO HELP ME FIND WHAT IS GOING ON HERE.

NOTE: Both inventory questions were moved to 2. > MANAGER SE 6.5 > Parts /Inventory / Ordering / Catalogs.

Sounds like the item was received on or about 1/6/2015 (Last Purchase) but not billed out on an invoice as yet (no sales History and nothing on Part Number Search report).

Since this is a bout a single part, I'd skip reports for the most part as they provide too much in this case and most are built on sales of which you say there are none. Instead use the Search PO screen: Click on the POs icon and click on Search and enter the part number. (select a date range, look at closed/open/all POs) That should reveal at least one PO with that part on it if it was electronically ordered or a manual PO created.
