Report I am missing??

We are running 6.6.8.

Its that time of the year and I would like to get some common wiper blades into the shop. We always get them from CarQuest, line code is generally CWP. There has to be a report I can run to show the CWP parts I have sold...isn't there?

I have tried Reports, Inventory, Non stock parts purchased. they are sorted by Category.

Please tell me that I am missing something. I can not believe there is not a way to search sold parts, not in inventory, by at least vender. By Line code would be great.

My answer to this would depend on whether you have these wipers in inventory or non-stocking. If the numbers are in inventory, you can search them in the Inventory module and refine by line code, then check the sales of each. If not, then the Non-Stock Parts Purchased report would be what I would use, however, there is no line code there. It is refined by Category, though, which may help.

This is why every part purchased here goes into inventory. This gives us greater flexibility.

OK, just what I thought. Crap (can I say that?) I don't have time to enter category everytime. And these parts are not in inventory. Guess I will just wing it.

Crap. Yeah, I guess you can say that.

In cases where I don't have or can't get history sales, I ask my vendor for a popularity list and go by that for the first year, then I have enough data to further refine the stocking list.

Can your supplier not pull up a report on your purchases for that? I know we have had reports like that for various items provided by our vendors.

Yes he can. Just kinda thought it was a pretty basic report, hoped to do it in house.

The problem I find with the supplier provided popularity reports is it usually doesn't match what's popular with us exactly. Good place to start, though.
