Hello....
I'm used to the old fashioned "pick up the phone and call" to order parts. Just getting started with the parts ordering function. I have two questions:
1. Whenever I submit orders, the parts lines turn light blue to signify that they've been ordered. How do I turn them green to show them as received?
2. How do I turn parts lines blue and then green for parts that could not be ordered directly through the parts ordering function?
Thanks!

Re: Parts Ordering and Colors
When you receive them through the PO system, they change.1. Whenever I submit orders, the parts lines turn light blue to signify that they've been ordered. How do I turn them green to show them as received?
You can't. It's been discussed here a few times on creating a way to do this in the future.2. How do I turn parts lines blue and then green for parts that could not be ordered directly through the parts ordering function?

Re: Parts Ordering and Colors
When you go to View PO and Receive the parts to the order, this will change the part lines from blue to green.
We have recorded an item on the enhancement request list for manually created purchase orders to be able to do something similar.

Re: Parts Ordering and Colors
I see. This gets into the whole purchase order and inventory side of TeamWorks. Our shop doesn't use the inventory/purchase order system as we're really too small to justify the additional time and overhead to do so. Is there no way of manually marking parts as ordered and as received for those of us who don't use the PO/Inventory system?

Re: Parts Ordering and Colors
There is not.
The PO is created for you during the parts ordering process; View PO, Receive All, bam, bam, done. provides good business data on purchases and trips an archive bit in the inventory table to change the color accordingly.
