PO Totals Don't Update

Post by ricmorin »

Like most shops, I monitor what I pay for parts. This is true for Inventory. When doing a reorder from inventory, if there is a price increase on any of the parts, the total does not reflect the price increase until I place the order. Shouldn't the total update upon Price Check? The individual prices update on Price Check, but the total doesn't change until the order is placed.

The current behavior makes it difficult to see if prices have changed, especially with larger orders. If the total changed during the price check as one would expect, I can go through the order and see which part(s) have changed. Since the total doesn't change, I click on each part to see if there is a change. This is time consuming.

It would very helpful to have the total update along with the individual parts during a price check.

Thanks,

Ric

I have just documented this with before and after Price Check samples. I will forward this to product mgmt. as a suggested improvement.

Any update on this? I thought this was fixed, or so I remembered, but the condition is still present in 7.1.7.

Me too. Today I noticed the older behavior. Now I'm second-guessing myself.

I am running v8.0.0 and I can confirm that the PO total DOES update upon a price check. Looks like this is fixed. :D
