Going through Mitchell and Repairlink and looking up parts with pictures the pictures don't show up. But if i open up a separate browser either chrome or internet explorer and go that way the pictures show up like they should.

Is there something I need to adjust?

Ive seen this for a long time I do not even bother to use the catalog through mitchell. Its a pain but I do it.
So have I, but only notice it with Fords. Couldn't remember if it was mentioned in here or if I was doing something wrong (which I didn't think was the case)

Looking up head bolts. Has the same issue Ford does. Thumb nail shows up, click on thumb nail for larger photo and its all gray little boxes.

Can i find micro-fiche anywhere? I don't remember ever having this issue working at Ford in 1986

At the risk of being labeled an antagonist, I am wondering what is the latest on the problems with RepairLink. Could someone please update this post and or fix the issues. Again, this past week, I was hoping I could look up parts for early 2000's Ford vehicles and alas.......... It is very frustrating. Other brands can be looked up but not Ford.

Please update.

Is there a fix or work around for the pictures not showing up on the Ford vehicles? The thumbnails come up - but not the big picture.

Here is my work around.....might want to grab a coffee, or bottle of wine.

I use CTRL and the scroll wheel on my mouse. This enlarges the "thumb nail", then i squint my eyes really hard, try to find the part in thumb nail that I want. Your going to need to draw a map, or take great notes on which gray box you want! You see, when you click on the "thumb nail" all you get to see is the little gray box (hyperlink?) and all its little other gray box friend, so your object is to be a crime scene investigation reconstruction specialist, or CSIRS for short. Now, deep breath, sip the wine....click on the thumb nail. Compare your notes to the large white photo, can you see a gray box? Or I mean can you see YOUR gray box? They all look the same, refer to your notes. Perhaps cross your legs, put a bandana around your head, place fingers to thumbs, hum, sing, breath deep. Meditate. Ah there yah go, the hippie vibes have spoken, its not just any gray box your looking for, it is the ONE gray box. Now (take a spin of beverage) click on the gray box, does the part description match in a round about way what your looking for?

If you go directly to repairlinkshop.com in a browser, the pictures show up. I usually save to a cart to get the part numbers, then enter into Manager to save to the RO for ordering, once the job is sold.

That's what I do. Would be a lot easier if it worked though

This is getting old. All these price increase and "upgrades". My manager program is crashing. Repairlink STILL doesn't work. No ones seems to care. Im going to let our dealerships know that we are having these issues with repairlink.

I called snap on about our scan tool not upgrading automatically. Guy asked me 2 questions then hurried to get me off the phone. Told me to talk to my dealer.

Customer service is getting very bad

I just sent a message over to Steve @ oeconnection that some kind of update on this situation is overdue.

Can someone tell me if Mitchell and RepairLink will ever function correctly together? Repairlink is pretty much useless as it is.

Now, when I go to place an order at a dealer I have set up an account with, I can place the part in the cart, I can view the cart and I can order the cart, however, I cannot return to the catalogue after I have a part in the cart. In addition to all the other issues with Repair Link, this takes frustration to a new level. Please help.

Thanks Tim. We would use Repair Link more than we do if it was working better but as it is, sorry pal but it is downright frustrating. If I had to pay for the Repair Link service, I would have cancelled it by now.

It used to work good. When they made changes 1-2 years ago they ruined it.

Yes it does work. Thanks for taking care of this as it was very frustrating and time consuming. Now if only other issues could get resolved that easy.

Here I go again, I need to look up parts for an 2004 Ford E350 Super Duty with a 6.0L diesel. I enter the VIN and it says "INVALID VIN". I recheck and reenter the VIN only to discover that Repair Link does not cover the 04 E series vehicles. What a dinger!

Who do I need to touch base with to get older vehicles back into Repair Link so I can look up parts for these vehicles? This is extremely frustrating as we work on alot of these era vehicles.

I had a 1999 Ranger this week same problem. It is very frustrating because we used to be able to look up older vehicles.

We are still having problems with the imaging not working on some vehicles. Thumbnail will appear but when we click on it all we get is blank image with some lightly grayed out boxes. We end up printing the page and then guessing which box is the we are looking for
