Closing P.O's

Post by Gages Lake Auto »

Hello All. We certainly do not use Mitchell and the integrating with QB the way it should be done because of two locations. I wondered if there is an easier way to get caught up closing P.O's? If you even fall behind a few days or are out of the office, you could be closing them for an hour (10 users ordering parts). I wondered if there were any plans to make it a "one more step" before posting the order. Possibly a warning box that comes up "Do you want receive and close all P.O.'s associated with this R.O? Yes or No". Could it be possible to toggle this warning on and off with Shop Configurations? Hopefully a good idea that will gain some traction.

Be well!!

Welcome to the Forum.

That's a very good idea. Of course, good habits should be instilled in all your users, but this could be a good fallback. Another option would be to have a pop-up when leaving an open PO that has all of it's contents received that asks if you want to close out. Either way, any help would be good.
