Repairlink install

Post by Rich »

We just upgraded our system!! Both work stations (windows 10) are new and the server (windows 7) will be any day.

Since the update my repairlink button is gone.

Looking at the ManagerFiles site on line 18 is the repair link install, however it also says "v1.3 is included with Manager 7.5.0 and greater". Is it safe for me to go ahead and install this and hope my button comes back? Would it be better to wait until server is also replaced and do it then? Or should Rich just leave it alone and have the IT peeps at M1 fix this when they remote in and do the install on the server??

Is it just switched off? From splash screen, go to Configurations>Special Maintenance>Toggle Catalog Availability and see if it's just off.

Either the catalog is not there or the workstation cannot see it. You can browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\M1-SK\Teamworks\Catalogs and look for a file called Mitchell1.Catalog.RepairLink.dll. If it's there then there is an issue with the workstation that support would likely be needed to rectify.

Thanks, I did look and can see that it is NOT where you said to look. I am currently just going on line and looking.

I'll take this "issue" over fighting my system an hour or two a day just to keep it functioning, So this is not a big deal at all.
