Mighty Catalog error

Post by rhillig »

When trying to get into our Mighty Catalog from Mitchell I get this error:

I am reaching out to our Mighty Rep as well, but thought it might be possibly something on the Mitchell side that is not happy.

Thank you

Hi Becky,

This error (and my testing here) looks like there are some communications with the Mighty catalog on their end. Informing Mighty is a great first step towards resolution. :)

Re: Mighty Catalog error FIXED

Post by rhillig »

From our Mighty Tech Rep: (I did go in & noticed my log in on Mitchell for Mighty was not exactly the same case as the login on Mighty's website. Fixed it & now I can get in again)

It is most likely a user login issue. We had some changes done on the backend of our catalog login system recently. Some logins that were not totally clean and complete were still sliding by when using backend systems like Mitchell. Now they don’t. But since the login info is already stored in Mitchell, it doesn’t tell you it’s suddenly not working.

The quickest way to test: See if the same login used in Mitchell will get to MIC Online.

And have the user use that NEW login in the Mitchell system.

Thanks for sharing the solution, Becky! It appears I may have to get updated test credentials as well...
