Receiving P.O. Parts Not Updating Inventory Quantity?

We have noticed on some PO's when we receive the parts in, then inventory quantity on hand is not updating to reflect received parts. This has been evident with creating the PO in the RO and with creating PO in PO window.

Hi Tanyah,

I went through the parts order process for both a new inventory part and an existing inventory part using 2 different parts catalogs and both times the quantity on hand updated appropriately. Depending on the order phase and options when receiving the parts, specifically "Receive parts to appropriate Repair Orders when possible" the parts may not update the on hand value due to them already being assigned to an order:

If you do not believe this to be the cause for your on hand values not updating, I suggest calling our Technical Support team for additional troubleshooting assistance @ 888-724-6742, option 4.
