AutoPartSearch Catalog - Now Available

Post by Silky7 »

Mitchell 1® and ShopKey® are pleased to announce the first-ever recycled OE catalog integration with the Manager™ SE and ShopKey Shop Management systems. AutoPartSearch powered by U-R-G provides access to over 700 top part recycling facilities in both the US and Canada.

Once enrolled via the catalog setup, shops are able to choose preferred participating sellers in their area.

Will this be available as a download or integrated into the next release?

Ah yes. I forgot about the alternative uses for the MSEC. Great work! M1 has to be the best in catalog integration.

Can someone refresh my memory on how we enroll in this via the catalog setup? I have the catalog button toggled on but not sure how we enroll in this.

What I did was linked a vendor at random. When I linked them, a sign-up window popped up. Fill that out and write down your user and pw. Then log in through that vendor. The first window you'll see a map with the available vendors. Add the appropriate vendors from that window. Then go back to your Manager vendor setup and add/link there too.

I am set up. Have a vendor only 10 miles from me. Yes!

Can someone walk me though adding this catalog? I did not see anything that stood out in the catalog availability tabs.

Hi Brian,

You should definitely see the option. Something might be amiss if you do not, and you may need to touch base with support.

However, here's what to look for:

Then as Ric mentioned, setup a vendor:

Link to AutoPartSearch, and then when you try to finalize that, it'll present a window asking for your credentials. Likely at this point you'll sign up as a new user (unless you use the site already).
