got a call from a MORE rep and i mentioned the post in mitchell and i was told that hey are focusing on certain areas for now. she said that after it's somewhat established then they'll move out into other areas. she told me that right now the dealer involvement is the key. i got the impression that some dealers are staying away because they move their pricing around a bit. i'm seeing more and more dealers in my area joining but some of the ones i use are still avoiding it. from what i'm seeing it seems to be taking off and hopefully it will meet the expectations they and i have.

After a long delay I'm finally seeing dealer here signing up. I can now order from about 4 different ones. I've tried it a few times and have to say I really like it. :D

Update: Just got a call from More and they are rolling out in my area. Perhaps in a few weeks we'll have some Dealers signed up. Exciting news!

It's slow in coming, but I think the dealers are slowly realizing what the aftermarket parts houses already know. Online intergrated ordering IS the future. Seamless, baby, seamless.

i told the more rep when i spoke with her and i think i gave her you're number ric. now i'm seeing a bit of a down side here. the dealers that i have listed simply because they're on the system are calling me for sales on somewhat a regular basis. this week has been busy and a bit warm and the sales calls have gotten a bit under my skin. they want to set up accounts, and i really understand, but i just get angry when i come to the phone and it's a perky sales person sitting in an air conditioned office wanting to set up an account. i just tell them to fax the app and i'll fax it back. i guess what i'm saying is that the more rep will want you to link with any dealer in the area that's on their system and i completely see and understand why even if it's one that i will never use, but the calls got to me this week. i suggest that you don't link with dealer that are on the sight just to have active participants.

Thanks Steve. I have no intention of linking with anyone who I don't already do business with. I guess I would rather have dealers calling than no dealers on the program, but I know what you mean about sales calls. My office staff does a great job at 'insulating' me from these. (Almost too good) Competition is good.

Have been using it for awhile. You can customize the dealers that you want on your account. I really like the pictures that are identical to what the parts person at the dealership is looking at if you need to ask questions. Just say look at number 13 and tell me if whatever......

I, at this point, will place a quick call to the parts department to ask them to look for my order that I just placed because they, as us, are new to the system and are not intuned to watch dilingently for incoming orders.

Also did discover that the OEM numbers are available once you place parts in your cart, then view cart. If you at that time don't want to place order just remove part from cart or save the order for later.

Overall I like it.

My local Acura store just went online with MORE. If more dealers do so, it will increase my desire to switch over to SE.
