NAPA Prolink catalog For Manager 6.4

Post by sbebenelli »

I just installed the NAPA Prolink catalog and it won't communicate with my store letting me know price and inventory. I used the same store ID and TAMS customer ID we had with the old NAPA catalog. I called the store and they have no idea how to fix it or what's going on.

Is using the same store ID and TAMS customer ID what should have been done? It shows the store information like that part is working.

You need to have your credentials checked. I recreated the same error by entering the wrong TAMS ID.

You are exactly right! I do not know how but the TAMS customer ID had a digit missing. I have no one to blame but myself. Thanks for suggestion.

We BETA'd this program. Get new info, your old stuff will not work. Your gonna like how each part has a photo next to it! Make it so much nicer.

That screenshot looks sooooo much better than the old NAPA interface.

My old info worked, I somehow left a digit out of my TAMS customer ID. Everything is working now.

Ric, the photos are nice. Instead of reading through all of the lines you can scroll until you find something that looks like what your looking for, then read. Say you are looking for caliper hardware, you can see the boots, the bolts, and the springs. If you looking for springs, no need to read, scroll until you see a spring and then stop and read. It will take some getting use to. Adding a part to a work order could be stream lines a click or two. But I like it.

PS. Some of the serpentine belts have poor descriptions.

Out TAMS ID had to have a single number added to it to make ours work.
