Printing Diagrams In Color?

Post by Jeff @ Able Auto »

Is it possible to make the wiring diagrams print in color a sticky setting? Thanks, Jeff.

I'll agree it's way too many clicks, windows and such in order to print something like this.

Color diagrams printing is a default with B&W (monochrome) printing as a fallback measure. If this setting will not stick, please contact support.

FYI - Once the current AAPEX/SEMA cycle ends (November), development is going to concentrate on fit & finish of ProDemand / ShopKeyPro. This includes a number of printing issues.

That's the problem. It's stuck on BW. You have beautiful COLOR diagrams and we have to UNCHECK this every time we print.

I know this is off topic but it is wire diagram related. Please please please make the diagrams open in a full window.

I grab a 2004 Impala RO in SE and click on Repair information and get to wiring diagrams; I select Air Conditioning and get Fig 1 Compressor Circuit on page 1 and Fig 2 Manual A/C Circuit on page 2. They are in COLOR and match the screen.

When we go to print the diagram, the checkbox for black and white is always selected. I must manually unselect B&W every time. We would like that setting to be sticky, so we don't have to click it every time.

Let's hear which browser you are using with this color printing issue.

So am I (Chrome) and it prints color for me. Firefox has a persistent checkbox for 'Print in Black & White' that appears to be what people are battling each time.

What is the PC operating system and version of Chrome browser is installed there? [Tools menu - About should launch a new tab with version info]

As for Chrome, I let it update and now it has the Print Black & White checkbox.

Version 37.0.2062.124 m = no checkbox
version 38.0.2125.104 m = with checkbox
