Got a 2011 Kia Sportage VIN KNDPBCA28B7036880 that is an AWD. Rear wheel bearing is pressed in on an AWD. It's a hub assembly if it's FWD. Mitchell shows .8 hours and mentions nothing about an AWD. This is wrong. Another resource we have shows FWD or AWD and AWD is listed at 2.5 hours.

This is what I have and the VIN has been decoded.

Can you list the exact steps you've taken to get to your example after decoding?

I search for "wheel bearing" then click on "wheels".

This is using Manager 8.0.3.

For clarification, are going through Estimator in Manager or looking into ProDemand natively? I tried it both ways and I still get AWD choices. I cannot immediately explain why you are getting a different display than I.

I tried that way too. Same result. I would contact support if you feel the need. It's definitely in there correctly; not sure why you can't see it.

Try this: Open a browser and type in www.prodemand.com. Enter the vin and decode. Look up the labor and tell us what you get.

Morning Guys,

I noticed when I selected the Sportage LX, I see the options for AWD. When I choose the base model, I don't see the option.
Back in the vehicle tab, remove the last character in the VIN and put it back in, decode and select the LX model.

Hope this helps :)

Yep you are correct. When I decoded this both options popped up and I looked at the vehicle and no LX emblems are on it so I went with the base model. I just decoded the VIN on decode this and it comes up as an LX.

Now the next question is my other resource gave me 2.5 and Mitchell gave me 1.5. The customer OK'd it at 2.5. I'm gonna feel guilty if I don't lower it to the 1.5 because that's what I would have went with had I decoded it correctly.

I had no option for LX or base, but I am running a newer version of Manager. I hate unanswered questions.

Newer versions of Manager SE will often come with updated DMV data -including the beta build Ric is running. If we can associate the sub-model with the VIN we will, but I wouldn't consider this the norm. As for the labor time, I'll have to defer to the experts. My mechanical skills are sub A level
