Access Denied / Errors on Web Page - Ondemand5 repair

Post by McKennaAuto »

Hi Everyone, I'm having this issue when logging into ondemand 5. I'm running windows XP with IE 8. I've cleared the cache and temporary files. It will load up correctly once, the next time I will have this come up: Cannot select vehicles, it shows up as a double screen across the top. (Click picture to see full size issue) Any help is appriciated.
I would like to know if this is a Mitchell issue or my computer.
Thank you

Wojtek

This means that you are trying to run two instances of OD5.com running on your PC.

Close one of them.

Tim,
Just to make sure I have tried that, problem still exists. Again if I clean the cache and temp files it will work once and only once. Any other suggestions? Starting to pull my hair out.

That's an odd one, let's start at the beginning and see if I understand correctly...

You are not using Manager/Manager Plus 5.9 to launch OD5.com? The picture portrays that you are running OD5.com as stand alone product in IE 8.0. At any time are you also clicking Repair, Estimator, Maintenance or TSB in Manager?

If you open the first instance of OD5.com, use it for a lookup successfully, are you saying that when you want to enter a second lookup that it A) refuses to do that and/or B) it generates the second tab for OD5.com all by itself or C) you are opening the 2nd tab yourself?

This is probably going to be an issue that support will have to look into. If you need to contact them, try calling as our mail server is down at the moment...

Tim, this is what happens.

I turn on the PC in the AM. Windows xp pro loads. Then I open IE8, go to ondemand5.com, click log in, and boom there comes the double screen. The computer in the shop is a stand alone. No Manager installed. Sometimes I get the first look up to work but the rest does not. Let me know if I should contact support.

Thank you.
