OnDemand5 Software Is About To Time-Out

I got an email saying my OnDemand5 software Is going to time-out Oct 6 and I'm supposed to locate my data update and install it. It's been awhile since I got an update disk and it was for sure installed. I'm using 6.4. Will it do me any good to reinstall it or do I need to call support?

I got this same email. I don't use the disc based system. I used the web based sysytem. I'm guessing this email is a mistake.

All,

This email was indeed sent to all our subscribers. You are correct in assuming that if you are using Manager SE 6.x, or 5.9 and exclusively the web-based repair and estimating, you can safely ignore this message.

If you use desktop repair or estimating integration with Manager 5.9, you will need to run this update ASAP. It should be very clear if this is the case, as you should have been seeing expiration warnings from the program for several days.

If running SE or Manager 5.9 with web repair (ondemand5.com/shopkey5.com) DISREGARD the notice.

If a customer was running OD5 DVD version 5.8.1 that was going to hit wall for good. We shipped current customers 5.8.2 with new security scheme. It will require tech support intervention in many cases.

HQ was concerned about a ton of calls so this was a pre-emptive measure. (so I get to explain instead)

It sure did require tech intervention for me. When I went to install my new updates I had a few issues. But! Thanks to the good guys on the San Diego end of the phone we got everything in place and so far things have been running fine for us.

I got the same message and am hoping to just ignore it is correct. I am running Manager 5.9.5.112. Just updated not that long ago.

Ok I have OD5 Team Works 5.9.5.107. Cant remember when last updated. Seems if Nicks is running .112 I should be gettin an update?

It's not a Manager update message; it is strictly for OD5/SK5 DVD customers.

3500 of the estimated 5000 customers have been updated, which leaves about 1500 to make the phone ring on or before October 6th.

OK I am getting the expire warning when I start manager. Soooo...just to be sure I understand...I WILL NOT be getting a winners circle disc. I did download and run the update John posted but still show 5.9.5.107 ?

Be sure that Manager is CLOSED on the PC before you run update or version # doesn't change and other issues can result. The update also needs to be run on EVERY workstation PC.

WinnersCircle disc is twice a year, downloads twice a year.

I'm making a video to show the update process.

Manager is/was closed. Downloaded and saved file. Went to documents, double click file, instals car32?, reboot computer, no change in version. At least I didnt lose my quikbooks :wink: Just aint sure what to do next.?
