1st Mile Problem

Having a issue with 1st mile when a customer tries to pay. It pops up on my screen and says swipe or insert card and they do nothing will happen, it just keeps sitting there waiting on the customer and never changes. When I restart my computer it starts working again, but the customer has no time to wait on all that. Anyone know how to resolve the issue? Already called first mile once and they said problem is on mitchell1 end.
