Post by brianp87 »

2008 nissan rogue
Mitchell says to replace blower motor at 1.5 hrs? The repair guide says to remove evap case first which pays 5.6? Im confused it looks as though the repair is correct but estimator is not. I was looking at blower time to have tech remove for innspection and it says 1.5. Any ideas on were I screwed up

Alldata says the same thing. It's BS. R&R evaporator case is 5.4, and it has to come out to replace the blower motor. Looks like Nissan provided Alldata & Mitchell bogus info. Hate when that happens!

Too new for field reports to the contrary until today.

Please share with Product Support (link in Repair forum) and ours will get corrected first!

i always look at what it takes to r&r, mostly because i'm old school. i remember seeing many, many, labor times that didn't include accessibility. a good one was a blower motor in a full sized chevrolet. it paid .3. the inner fender had to be removed to get to it and the first generation of these were steel. whenever i get something that i've never run across before i always look at the r&r description before i quote.
never argue with a fool, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
