2004 Chev Malibu - Maintenance Items

Post by lmcca »

can someone look up in manager " SE " a 2004 chevy malibu LS v6 and check the normal maintenance for 60,000 and see if it shows only a tire rotation, actually all the milages only show a tire rotation, but see if it shows the same on your end?

Many of the 5K intervals are tire rotations as the mfg. has provided. Every make approaches maintenance differently.

Under the Normal selector, the Malibu has additional service items under 25K, 50K, 75K, 100K etc. Severe has more listed under 75K, 100K, etc.

Don't forget to forget to factor in the Timed and Indicator services that impact this vehicle.

any time a vehicle comes in for a scheduled maintenance and this is the case (we're seeing it more and more) it alway's gets it's oil and filter changed, all fluids topped off, tire pressures checked and above all, resetting all monitors along with air and cabin filter inspection. many of my customers live in suburbia with pine trees and little critters. i have a few that we pull the cabin filters three or four times a year and retrieve at least a cup full of acorns each time.
