2007 Pont Grand Prix - Heater Core Labor Time

replacing a heater core on a 07 grand prix which according to mitchells calls for 3.8 hrs , 8 hrs later and the dash in pieces finally removed heater core. am i missing something or is this just a mistake in the labor guide.

I looked in my other guides and 2.7 is average

I get 3.8 also. No mention of complete IP removal in procedure. Just lower panels. :?

no instrument panel removal on my sites as well. Just lower and the only difference is a center console or not. What source are you using for instructional references?
