Turn System Messages Off

Is there a way to turn system messages off on the tablets? I did not see one. You can turn this off on a workstation.

We are constantly bombarded with messages every time a tech starts or finishes an inspection. Why do techs need to know this? Only the service advisor really needs to be alerted. I'm afraid that techs will start ignoring the alert as it's the same as a chat.

Haha. Yeah, maybe. I ended up just shutting ALL messages from the application at the system level. Not sure that's a 'good' idea. I don't get chat messages and those little 'clocked in' messages either. Oh well. If only the programmers actually had to USE the program, maybe they'd see.

In the meantime, I'll just gently offer suggestions.

No worries there. I should mention that I have the utmost respect for those programmers. Theirs is not an easy job.
