Notes

Since the last update there is now a character limit on notes. There wasn't one before that nothing in the update news that I can see says you were going to do that. Was this done on purpose or an accident.

I'm not sure what version difference you may be referring to, but the Note limit is unchanged from the previous version to the current. *EDIT* (This is in reference to Manager. If you meant for Mobile Manager, please disregard.) :See below:

I believe Bolt-On did that to match the note limitation in Manager. I'm guessing users were writing long notes only to have them truncated in Manager?

Honestly, though, the limitation in Manager seems silly and quite small. I like to copy and paste recall data that Manager so nicely provides, but rarely can I get it into one note. Can we please loosen that restriction Mitchell1?

We probably can accommodate such a change with the recent technology changes we've been working on. I'll record it for an enhancement request. :)

Posting in the request forum doesn't automatically mean a request makes the list.

Correct. Unless you see such a statement from Tim (timbre4), John (Johnny5) or myself, don't assume it's recorded. With that said, I'm surprised I don't recall your original thread. My apologies.

I've modified the request to also include Work Performed on labor items as well. Symptoms actually has some data limitations, so it would be a different story there.
