Removing ProPak

Post by rhillig »

Since we do not use any of the other features, we have decided to switch to the Mitchell texting & have cancelled our subscription to Bolt-On. However, I do not find any way to remove the software and the auto load from our systems. Is there a way to remove the software?

Thank you

You say 'auto load' so I assume you mean automatic start up. If you simply don't want auto start, then remove the programs from your Windows startup folder. You can remove the programs completely from the Windows uninstall menu. If you need to remove the button within Manager, close Manager down. Navigate to the VendorPlugins directory for Manager. On a standard install it will likely be C:\Program Files (x86)\M1-SK\Teamworks\VendorPlugIns. Rename the ProPack.dll you find there. When you re-open Manager, it should be gone.

There is actually no un-install option for propak on the windows menu. I did shut off the auto start, but for some reason every time windows does a update it restores the disable :(

Thank you for the directions on how to remove the button from Manager!
