Share Progress Bar with Status

My customers love the status link that is sent to them for how work is progressing with their vehicle, however, we still get those annoying 'is it done?' calls. I was wondering if the progress bar that is generated in MM could optionally be attached to the link? Would that satisfy some of the curiosity? I realize the progress bar in not very accurate but we're used to that already. LOL. What do you think?

Ric,
You know they will still ask "is it done yet?" no matter what you do.
Wouldn't the progress bar have to take into account the processing of the RO/invoice at the end too?
Physical work maybe done but the paperwork is not complete. You don't want people showing up before that.
What do you think?

We use a status of 'Billing-Not Ready' for when the techs are done and the office needs to finish up. That helps. If you wanted more accuracy to the bar, one could create a line item for the office to check off. (We have one already) If we are using the check boxes as a guide to the progress bar, we know it's not linear but it's something. If someone does actually show up, it wouldn't take long to finalize the paperwork. (and give them a tutorial on the status tracker)

I'd make it optional to include so that shops with clients that might misinterpret the bar can opt out. I'm sure we'd still get calls, but every little bit helps.
