Paul,

I'm thinking you're on an earlier version of Manager? 6.5.x? Tim stated this decodes on 6.6.7.

I think that if you start with a blank vehicle screen, nothing selected, it will decode that. That message is different then the one that says it cant be decoded.

You may be right. I'm thinking it may have something to do with it being a ford truck to. I recently had my database mported back into SE from Enterprise. I have to decode all my vehicles again. This is the only one that has had a problem but also the only Ford Van. I will try a few other and see.

When I get this, I just go to the year and click it then backspace and tab. It will ask if I am changing vehicles and I click yes then decode the VIN.

My data base was imported from TRACS, I used to get this a lot, but not so much now that most of the vehicles have cycled through the system since then.

Thanks for the suggestion Lil Joe. I tried that but it didn't work. I went so far as to delete every piece of vehicle day and then save it that way. When I pulled the vehicle back up to reenter the info all I had deleted was still there.
