It appears this vehicle VIN is Canadian and not included in our decode; see below:

Seems kinda silly we pay monthly fees and won't support Canada only models..Even though a simple DB entry server side.

If I understand VIN definition, the first digit denotes origin of country. 1 being USA, 2 being Canada and 3 I think is Mexico. Some Canadian models will decode in Mitchell but not all. If I have a Canadian model that will not decode in Mitchell, I go to the MORE site and decode it that way to get VIN attributes. I can then manually enter the data into Mitchell.

Yes, the first digit denotes where it was built. We decode vehicles built in Canada (and elsewhere) when they are intended for the U.S. market.

As far as decoding Canadian vehicles that were intended for the Canadian market, if you're "in for a penny, you're in for a pound." I hope to have some news on this front soon. Stay tuned
