Vehicle COLOR added

Post by GUTHTIRE »

We have a few customers with multiple vehicles, same make/model, could be different years or same year. When they call to schedule an appointment they rarely know the year or license plate but they do know the color. Unfortunately COLOR isn't listed on the Vehicle Selection screen nor does it look like we can add it via the Column Chooser.

Right-click on the Schedule, select New Appointment, enter customer name, select the customer...the next window is the Vehicle Selection window.
The columns that we see are: License, State, Year, Make, Model, Unit #, & VIN.

Can we get color added? (there's still a chance that they have multiple vehicle's of same year/make/model with the same color but it gets us closer.

Here's a work around that we use, in the unit number column, we put the color in () behind the fleet number. Not sure if that would work for you, but we've never had a conflict with it. Good luck

Thanks for the tip. So you store color in two places? Where it says color and in Fleet #?

Sorry for the delay, yeah it's redundant but it works for what we need it for.
