Manager SE 7.1.7 Release Feedback
It appears that the Customer Telephone List is separate from the Vehicle Driver Telephone List, correct?

Correct. The Customer telephone list is the same as before with the exception of the additional field for notes. The Driver Telephone List is generated from user input on the Vehicle screen; if there is no input, then it doesn't come into play. A list of Driver contact information is created as entries accumulate. This is a step towards a composite "family" or "fleet" (truck) customer contact model. As we go forward the Driver telephone contact list will become available in more places in the program.

Agree, only wish the two Telephone Lists where tied together, if you select driver name would be nice to have it pull from the Customer Telephone list although there may be a "method to the madness" as to why this wasn't done.ricmorin wrote:We really love the driver name and number fields. Deja Vu - I think this has been discussed at least twice before.
The Driver contact phone list was provided to give you something additional over and above the standard customer phone list. Specifically the son or daughter cell phone numbers are probably not in the customer phone list because they don't actually belong to the customer. In the fleet scenario, the driver cellphone would definitely not appear in the Customer/Company list.

Tim I am curious. Will the driver phone numbers be available through the Bolt-On products. In other words say I had a son or daughter on the driver phone list and they were paying the bill and I wanted to text them the Electronic inspection form. Will that shop up in Bolt-On's number pick list or will it only show the owner list of numbers?

I am loving the auto updating between the WIP and the scheduler. That is such a wonderful feature. It makes the scheduler so much easier for me to use. I honestly wasn't using it much before because it seemed like I was having to double enter information. I have been using so much more since yesterday.

Could 7.1.6 have broke the Wise connect catalog? It is not transferring the vehicle info over.
EDIT:
Seems to only be doing it on this vehicle. 1GTJTFDE5A8133750 2010 GMC Canyon. It takes you to the home page and does not transfer the vehicle info over to the parts catalog.
I have tried other vehicles and they are working.

Just installed today and we are already loving the new updates, especially the updated spell check. We do have one possible problem. When viewing in the appointment tab the technician information does not update from the work order. It will change and retain the info if you set a tech at the time you schedule the appointment but if you change it when it is an actual RO it does not change it on the scheduler/appointment screen.

You may have to close and reopen the appointment tab so the data gets refreshed. When typing in a labor window, specifically the Work Performed window and the text goes beyond the visible window, the window goes back to the beginning when creating a new line (carriage return). Minor issue but kind of annoying. You need at least 5 lines for it to occur, and regular typing without a hard return allows the window to scroll correctly.

Also on that same window, right click select all no longer works. Worked in 7.1.4.
