Drop off time vs. Appointment Reminders and Change Vehicle

Post by Hardwood »

Still getting customers calling because they scheduled an appointment at 10:00 AM and the email reminder says 8:00 AM.

I would prefer eliminating the "drop off" field entirely. In my shop, the scheduled time IS the drop off time.

Not all of us are capable of ALWAYS changing both times on EVERY appointment.

Also, we still cannot go back and edit an appointment to change the original vehicle. We must delete the entire appointment and start over. The re-type the entire description of the work requested.

As previously mentioned, we've added this for our next major release.

I've already updated to the next major release, or so I thought? ( 7.2.5)

If not this release, when?

See the thread above for information on how it will look and function. The plan was, and still is, for the next major version tentatively designated as 7.3.

OK. I thought it was included in this major release.

No problem.

I'm no software expert, but how hard can it be for the folks over at the CRM department to pull the field that says "scheduled time" instead of "drop off time"?

Seems to me when they pull our data overnight, that's a different piece of software that queries the fields looking for drop off times, work requested, etc....

Please try to fix this on the CRM side, guys!

Day 1 workshop just completed.

John brought an early SE 7.3.x version and we witnessed the Drop Off Follow Start Time option EXISTS. It's no longer a question mark as to dev completing this work and I offer this as reassurance that it's coming for certain!
