Version 8.1.4 doesn't show order/schedule hours for day FIXED

I rely on this number on a daily basis. It tells me if I am overbooked or if I have time on a particular day. Now this number that I heavily rely upon is gone!

I need this number so I can run my business effectively.

What can I do?

Apologies Bruce, this defect was recorded shortly after the release went out. It will be fixed (restored) on the next release, slated for March.

I appreciate the quick reply.

This number is important to me - now I have to click around even more to schedule things and possibly introduce error (or carpal tunnel) There is no way to introduce a patch in the meantime?? This defect severely impacts my daily function.

Sorry, I've confirmed this is not something that can be delivered in a patch; it'll have to be the next release.

As a workaround for now, the information can still be accessed from these two screens:

This I know - just more click click click to get there..... Used to be at a glance on the month view which was quick and efficient.

Also when I click back from the day view back to the month view, the month view defaults to showing the week I was just scheduling in (which for me is 2 weeks ahead) and now I have to now scroll up (or click the scroll bar 2x) to get me back to the current week.

It's very frustrating and time consuming - especially being that there is a terrible lag between click and response in these latest releases.

My machine is quite robust. It only lags in mitchell - nothing else...

You might reference the performance with tech support to see if anything can be done. The newer releases (starting with 8.0.9) automatically detect 64 bit and install that version to take advantage. There was also a gain in time required for Scheduler to open; from 24-30 seconds in some cases down to 6-10 seconds.

Any idea on a release date for this fix? It's very hard to see when customers re-schedule and create a hole in my week. I now have to look at every day between today and what I expect my next opening is. I am not the only one creating schedule events. So thankful I'm not using online scheduling....

Bruce, we are still finalizing the scope of the SE 8.2 release and that will determine the release date yet. It is expected in several weeks.
