Accounting Link Issues SOLVED

Post by HAC »

I was set up last Monday and having some problems: 1- Program transfers customers name without id# , so if you have 3 customers with same name in Mitchell1 all sales will go to just one customer with that name in Qbooks . 2- Problem with transferring tire fees . 3- If a charge customer pays outstanding invoices only lump sum transfer to Qbooks but does not distribute payments to invoices being paid . 3- Inventory returns are not creating credit memo in Qbooks.
Thinking of going back to the Integrator.

I am curious...is this a program bug or a setting error. Really want to go with this program but I have little patience when it comes to this kind of stuff.

Spoke with Bill this morning and it's about making a few changes to reflect the current Manager SE database structure and adding an option or two. Keep in mind that the taxes/fees structure is largely the same since program inception, whereas the Tire Fees configuration area was just added in 2014. I should let The Back Office sort this out first and then perhaps post about it.

Thanks Tim. I spoke to a friend that is a programmer about back Office. He knows my computer knowledege and suggested I go with it, but also advised to give it a bit to see if anything like this popped up. Will keep checking back.

The communication between The Back Office and this shop was to happen "by Tuesday" I believe so we don't know yet.

Just got off the phone with Back Office support. Fantastic service!! I had forgotten about these issues and started off Fri PM. Once I realized what was happening I stopped and sent a help request to back office. They called..straightened out what needed to be and showed me how to prevent further problems! :D :D
