Deleting/Removing A Credit
Deleting/Removing A Credit
When customer paid, a discount was given; unfortunately, the wrong amount was entered and in trying to correct this error, the customer ended up with a credit balance. How can I fix this?

Hello and welcome to the Forum. Heres what you do. Go to the customer sreen. In the upper right corner there is a button that says Update Customer. Click it and make whatever adjustment you need to make there.

Re: Deleting/Removing A Credit
be sure to pw protect this function. i like to have a paper trail of what was done. to my knowledge there is no trail as to where the credit went. if you update the customer. in this situation i would unpost the invoice, make the propper corrections. use the note field to explain what was done and how it was corrected. then post
