++1 on the notification staying longer. ProPack notifications stay until cleared. We stopped using ProPack for texting and are using the integrated text feature, but often miss getting the text replies in a timely fashion because they disappear so quickly.

Just making sure you are of the new Messages column in your WIP screen? If you can't see it, look way over to the right for it and drag it into your standard WIP view.

++++++1 on the notification staying up longer. We have messaged a few people that didn't have open work orders & didn't catch the fact that they replied back until much later

Another idea for the developers - would it be possible to have the date/time in the all conversations window? Message size probably isn't as important as knowing when the last time the message was responded to or sent.

Becky,

We're definitely going to add a "Last Contact" column with the date&time of most recent message. Whether that be one you sent your customer, or one they sent to you, whichever is most recent.

We are getting texting!!!!! (yes, its big deal to me)

If i was to send a text to someone that doesn't want to be text. I assume they have a "stop" option. But if they respond "stop" does this automatically cancel texting in the system? Or do we need to do it on our end?

You need to do one thing to confirm it in Manager SE; with that customer selected, click on the SMS Allowed icon and it will dim and display this message for you to select yes or no to the change:

Thanks!

My understanding is that the default setting is to allow texting to all customers? If we find one that doesn't want it, do as you instructed above.

In the Text Message Center, click on New. Find the customer and open a new message. In the window on the left, go to the phone number field and select the correct number. Text.

OK, one more crazy question.

We are using CRM, and they send out "Thank you" texts automatically. And they ALL show up in my Text Message Center. Not a big deal. But my Type A personality is driven insane by the needless clutter. I got here this morning and there were like ten of them on my "all conversations" screen. Is there a way to "mass delete" them (or any texts not needed)? I can't seem to get them to all highlight and then delete. Its one at a time.

Rich,

There's no mass delete at this time. We are still weighing changes on the interaction level between Manager and CRM texting. One thought is to allow you to choose whether or not to see automated messages. However, there's some significant development effort there, and we're still gathering feedback to see if that is the right approach.
