In the last few weeks I have been getting emails about consumers opting into texting. Is this something new? I am just deleting the emails, do I suppose to be doing something with these?

You should have received an email announcing the new texting campaign now included with CRM. They are sending out emails now for people to opt in. You can create special campaigns targeted to those who opt in via text. Then you send out a mass text offering your special. Quite nice actually.
