Search By Part Number function

When you go to the Home Ribbon | Setup | Inventory Materials and you are using the Search By Part Number feature, please be advised that the intended use for this feature is for instances where you know the full part number.
By design it will not locate the part using a partial key word search of the part number. It must be the entire part number. When performing a Search By Part Number for multiple part numbers you can enter as an ongoing list separating each part number using the semi colon or add the entire part number on a separate line no delimiter ( semi colon) required.
Note: In the program a space is considered a delimiter in the Search By Part Number and will not return results when a space is used in the actual part number.
