So we use a performance pay scale for our techs and it's based off hours billed not pay hours that the labor guide says. We have changed our labor guide time to add 25% but when we use the time manager it only transfers over the original labor time.
Example:
A turbo R&R is 3.6 hours in the labor guide.
Our system ads 25% so when it's transfered to the RO it shows 4.5 hours billed.
When my tech clocks on to the job on his job clock it shows 3.6 hours.
So when I pull up my tech recorded hours report it is off by 25%. I want to pay his performance pay off this report because he can finish and get paid on the jobs that he finishes even if the vehicle isn't completely done and posted by the end of the week. As soon as it's marked complete it adds the hours to this report. I know I can just take the reported hours and multiply by 1.25 but I was hoping the charged hours would transfer over to the job clock. The 3.6 hours that the labor guide says it should take means nothing because the customer isn't paying that and my tech is not getting paid based off it. It should be the 4.5 hours. Is there any way to change pay hours on the "tech recorded hours" report to billed hours?
Pay hours vs billed hours performance pay
Re: Pay hours vs billed hours performance pay
If I'm following you, this will be one of the easiest things to solve, which is good!
I'm going to summarize as you want the Tech Pay Hours to equal Charged Hours, regardless of the time recorded in Job clock (Actual Hours), correct?
Simply head back into Markup and change from Sale Only to Sale and Tech Pay.
